Boo Bash Benefit Concert

October 29, 2019

Come and join us for a fun evening filled with music, dancing, and costumes. Performances by Noah Schnacky, Matt Stell, and the Tyler Walker Band. The Boo Bash Benefit Concert proceeds will go to HBA Cares, a local nonprofit that partner with other nonprofits, engaging industry resources to support transitional and accessible hosing and other community projects. Be sure to wear a costume as there will be prizes for the best adult and kids' costume.  Kids will be able to enjoy trick or treating throughout the event!

Creek Week 2019

Where: Sinton Trail ( Meeting location: Springs Journey Church 1250 Vondelpark Drive 80907) 

Volunteers from the HBA and HBA Cares will team up once again to clean up a designated portion of Fountain Creek Watershed.  A collaborative effort between eight local communities, Creek Week is a yearly litter and debris collection event that helps raise awareness about the watershed, our water supply, the district, and the littering issue to make our communities cleaner, safer, and more beautiful.

HBA Cares Night in the Parade of Homes

*PLEASE NOTE: Tickets are required for entrance to this event*

Mark your calendars: on Saturday, August 10, 2019 the HBA will hold a special event, HBA Cares Night, during the 2019 Parade of Homes to benefit HBA Cares. The public can purchase tickets to attend this special event; around 200 tickets will be available. Tickets are $100 each, and all proceeds will go to HBA Cares. 

HBA Cares Night will be held in a beautiful Alliance Builders home in Flying Horse North at 15290 Shortwall Drive in Colorado Springs, CO 80908. The event will take place from 6:30 - 9:00 PM, and food by Brother Luck will be provided. This is a special event that you won't want to miss!

Join HBA Cares and Family Promise at a Landscaping & Final Home Rehab Volunteer Event!

Help HBA Cares &  Family Promise to lay down rock and other landscaping materials at a mobile home for a family in need.  Additional projects include finishing up a deck and railing, installing window trim, painting, caulking and a kitchen backsplash install.  Any expertise in these areas is appreciated!  Contact Katherine Croft at katherine@cshba.com or (719) 592-1800 x 116 if you would like to volunteer for this event.

Banning Lewis Ranch Hill Climb Night

On Thursday, June 6, 2019, the Banning Lewis Ranch home community will host the second annual “Pikes Peak Hill Climb Night” as one of the Summer Concert Series themes nights. Current and former Pikes Peak International Hill Climb competitors will display their race vehicles at the Hill Climb Night. The public will have a chance to talk with competitors about cars, motorcycles and racing on Pikes Peak. This event gives the public an opportunity to see race cars and motorcycles in a more intimate setting than in the Fan Fest. There will be tables and tents set up for drivers where they can visit with the public.

At the event, HBA Cares will have a table sponsored by Pikes Peak Hill Climb driver George Hess. George’s car will be on display, and the public will be able to get more information on HBA Cares and speak with board members about how to get involved.

The timeline for the entire event will be:

  • 5:00 PM: The public can meet the drivers and see the cars. There will be a farmer’s market and food trucks as well.

  • 6:00 PM: Concert starts

  • 7:00 - 8:00 PM: Cars depart

  • 8:00 PM: Concert ends
