Guest House at Saint Francis

The Woody and Millie Ingram Guest House

HBA Cares is proud to announce that once again it is partnering with Penrose-St. Francis Hospital Foundation to build a new guest house.

As many members already know, HBA Cares partnered with Penrose-St. Francis to build the original John Zay Guest House in 2008 and it’s expansion in 2018 under the leadership of project manager George Hess, III.  This John Zay Guest House, located across the street from Penrose Hospital, has 21 suites and is often times at capacity with a waiting list. So, it became clear to us that there is a need for another guest house. The new Ingram Guest House at St. Francis will serve patients and their families at St. Francis Medical Center, many of whom may be families with a baby in the NICU or patients receiving cancer care treatment. This newest addition will be led by Josh Peterson who is serving as the Builder Captain of the Ingram Guest House at St. Francis. George Hess will also be serving as a Project Advisor and many of the HBA Cares Board of Directors will be assisting with the project as well.

HBA Cares is looking to enlist the help of its members and community to help bring the Ingram Guest House at St. Francis to fruition. We’re counting on our trades partners and members to help be a part of this special place.  In addition, the Penrose-St. Francis Hospital Foundation is on a mission to secure funding to support the John Zay Guest House, the Ingram Guest House at St. Francis, and operational costs of both hospitality homes into perpetuity. Together, we can help our friends, neighbors, and community when they need it most – when they need to focus on healing, we can provide them with a safe and comfortable home nearby.
